Dog Details Information
CH Vizion's Kiva JH NAJ (December 13, 1998 - April 9, 2010) “Kiva” is a Native American Indian name for a fireplace but also represents a place of worship and means intense and insightful. I discovered this name when I was at a seminar in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I was relaxing in front of the beautiful kiva fireplace at the Inn at Santa Fe with my ankle in a cast and watching a group from a local humane society that had several puppies needing homes. They were camped out in a conference room called the “Kiva” room! I almost took a chocolate lab mix home that day!!! But instead, I when I got home, I began my search for a Vizsla! I fell in love with the little “Pink Girl” from Misty and Tracker’s litter, bred by Gwen Tomlinson and Sharon Misiak, and she really fit the name! Kiva “pranced” out of the womb! She was so spunky with loads of confidence and was a real thinker!!! Kiva was a very sweet girl who just loved everyone! She had an intense desire to please and excelled at everything she has tried. Kiva was my first foundation bitch and produced two wonderful litters and ten puppies that carry her beautiful conformation and intensity. She retired from the show ring and from breeding, but she continued to love agility and completed her Novice Jumpers Title. Kiva slept most nights snuggled right next to Larry (or draped over his legs or neck), and she also really loved her Grampa Richie, wagging her tail rapidly when ever she was with him or just heard us say his name! We miss her dearly. I will remember the look that she gave me in her last moments of life, sharing that she loved her life and was off to find Kola in heaven. After he left us, she was not quite the same - she missed him so much! Click here to download Kiva's pedigree
